Right now I'm working on a larger project combining a moon lamp and and a medium scale model of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module. Overall, I don't need to change much except for one small spot. Between the moon lamp and the model I need a spacer, which is glued on the model. Later, this should be indistinguishable from the actual model in terms of color. Modelers who work with the Apollo model will notice the difference. Even though the 3D model of the spacer is quite simple, I still uploaded it to the archive. So it should be possible for interested people to rebuild the project without having to adjust the size of the model. You just load the stl file into e.g. superslicer and create the gcode. My philosophy is that a component has only one function. Of course people can modify these functions and use the part for something else, but the basic idea should remain the same. Create space between moon and lander.
